The migration commenced on June 24, wherein our team worked with Braintree to migrate the first group of user accounts successfully.
Braintree finalized migrating the remaining customer accounts via their encrypted network, ensuring a seamless transition for all customers on July 7, 2023, and the Searchbug team finished the migration over the weekend.

Customers can rest assured that no action was required on their part during this migration process . And there were no service interruptions. Braintree securely migrated credit card information, eliminating the need for customers to reenter their card details.
With the integration of Braintree, Searchbug customers can now enjoy several key benefits, including the ability to store multiple credit cards and alternative payment methods in their account profiles. Customers can conveniently select and modify a default payment method per their preferences.
Searchbug is also thrilled to announce that it will soon accept PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay, ACH payments, and possibly Apple Pay in the future, expanding the range of payment options available to customers. These additional choices increase customers’ flexibility, convenience, and security.
